Finally a subscription service you’ll love burning through: introducing, Bevs & Burns.

The idea behind a modern day subscription service is essentially to remove the guesswork of having to choose and purchase items that you already consume a regular basis – as well nullifying the need to even leave the house to do so.

When it comes to a cigar subscription, curated convenience is the name of the game, and very recently Bevs & Burns has removed the guesswork out of buying cigars with a growing collection of gorgeous, hand-rolled options ready to arrive at a doorstep on a monthly basis.

Bevs & Burns

With a growing selection of cigars to choose from, Bevs & Burns’ cigar portfolio utilizes premium tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras, The Dominican Republic and Cameroon, with manufacturing done in Nicaragua and The Dominican. For example, The Blimp, which is a delightful medium-bodied perfecto features Dominican binder and filler tobacco being wonderfully enveloped in a gorgeous, oily Cameroon wrapper.

A curated variety of cigars comprise Bevs & Burns’ growing portfolio

Among the Bevs & Burns smokeables, our current favorite number is the ‘Smoke Alone’ Somber Maduro Torpedo. It’s a medium-full bodied cigar with a dark, oily Dominican wrapper that starts with a very brief tight draw and thin smoke (due to its torpedo shape), but quickly becomes a billowing plume of smoke bursting with notes of chocolate, spice, burnt toffee and coffee with a slight cedar and cashew finish. The offerings in their current ‘Pro’ package all passed our test, with The Blimp, The Smoke Alone Maduro Torpedo and The Smoke Alone Habano Robusto being the big standouts in terms of flavor, burn, smoke and construction.

Small but mighty: The Blimp certainly impressed us

A First For Canadian Enthusiasts

For Canadians, having a cigar subscription service is a new concept, and as a result, Bevs & Burns have seen a lot of interest in their cigars and have signed up a great deal of early subscribers eager to try out their selection. What began as an Instagram channel in 2010 originally called ‘Cigars and Spirits’ has evolved and grown into something much larger with Bevs & Burns – Canada’s first cigar subscription service.

Premium Leather Goods Included: Wall St. Maker

In addition to cigars, it just so happens that Bevs & Burns fall under a larger parent company called Wall St. Maker that makes luxurious yet affordable rawhide leather accessories to transport and keep your cigar safe. Currently, all B&B cigar subscriptions come with one or more thoughtfully built, premium Wall St. Smoker accessories.

The ‘Hall Of Fame’ package comes complete with a beautiful leather ‘The Weekender’ bag, ‘The Grand’ leather cigar case, a Cigar Rest, and 72 cigars (6 each month for an entire year).

Amazing, eh?

Mail Call

With a US arm of their subscription service launched and an expanding line of cigar offerings to meet customer needs, Bevs & Burns is something to definitely keep an eye on. Whether you’re looking for an easy way to supplement your current influx of cigars, or simply kick back and rely exclusively on a monthly ‘mail call’ of their growing curated selection to arrive at your front door, Bevs & Burns and Wall St. Maker have an aficionado’s needs pretty much covered.
